Lighting and Projection Design

I strive to find a specific intention, conversation, and grounding to every single design that I create. Through a deep collaboration with the creative team, the work finds its artistic intention whether it be an important conversation to have with the audience, a didactic statement, or a question, the work must always be attempting to do something in addition to telling the story of the source material. In crafting the piece around this intention with the collaborative process, every design becomes a strong piece capable of having an impact on each individual attendee. Throughout the beginning of my career, I have strived to build my own personal methods and aesthetics for achieving these goals, and I have been very fortunate to work with many talented people on projects that have challenged everyone involved to broaden their horizons and open their mindsets. This is my objective in every process and design that I am involved with.
